Shells are used as ammo for the Argent Skull. By default, the Argent Skull comes with 3 Shells, and cannot be fired when all ammo is expended. Ammo can be regained by collecting spent shells. After a short period, shells will also automatically be recovered even at a distance.
Some Daedalus Hammer upgrades modify how shells work:
- Bolstered Array grants +2
Shell. - Fetching Array grants -1 Shell, but spent shells are recovered immediately.
- Destructive Array causes your spent Shell to damage nearby enemies, dealing ???% of your Attack damage.
- Possessed Array causes your spent Shell to unleash your Ω Attack when recovered, with no Magick cost.
